To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including typically required courses
• All applicants whose first language is not English must meet Humber’s English Language Proficiency Policy.
• Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education are required to provide particular credential evaluation.

This Arboriculture program is a two-semester certificate program designed to introduce students to the arborist and urban forestry trade. The program focuses on teaching students how to work safely and keep trees healthy in the unique working conditions of the urban forest. The curriculum for this arboriculture program includes courses on Arborist Practices, Workplace Health and Safety, Arboricultural Science, Tree Identification, Pest Management, Rigging, and more. This arboriculture program is delivered in one of the best facilities for this type of education, the Humber Arboretum, a 250-acre botanical garden that surrounds the campus. This arboriculture program is open to students who have completed high school or equivalent education, and who meet Humber’s English language proficiency policy.
