Highlight: Study at Canada’s largest engineering school, the University of Waterloo, in 1 of only 2 programs of its kind in Ontario! Geological Engineering is all about using knowledge about the Earth’s geology to solve complex problems. Take Civil Engineering classes to learn about design and combine it with Earth Sciences courses that teach you about geoscience; this course allows you to develop your understanding of the earth and your natural surroundings whilst understanding the importance of design suitable for nature. As one of the smallest programs at Waterloo, you’ll be in class with just 15-20 students, collaborating on projects and developing strong connections with students from across the world. With co-operative education integrated into your degree and various other hands-on opportunities like a capstone design project or field courses all around the world, you’ll be sure to graduate with the knowledge and experience you need to tackle your future as an engineer!
