Admissions Req:
For Guide Certificate Program:
Be at least 19 years of age at the start of the program.
Attend a program information session by telephone or in person.
Submit the Adventure Studies Department Student Information Form, Outdoor Experience Log, resume, cover letter, and 2 references
BC Grade 12 (British Columbia Adult Graduation Diploma), Adult Dogwood, or Mature student status or equivalent
English 12, or equivalent – completion
Math 11, or equivalent – completion

For Guide Diploma Program:
Completion of the Adventure Guide Certificate.
Application to Adventure Guide Diploma including: Cover letter expressing intent. Summer work/practicum plans. Outdoor Experience Log. Revision of Certificate transcripts and GPA.

Also must attend a program information session (see dates and locations).

The fee for this adventure studies program is typically $12,000 – $14,000 per year for domestic students and $18,000 – $24,000 per year for international students, however, this fee includes backcountry hut and lodge accommodation, helicopter flights, course transportation and more (student loans and scholarships are available as well)!
