Location: The Center for Digital Media (four university locations and affiliations: UBC, Emily Carr, Simon Fraser, British Columbia Institute of Technology
Admissions Req: Students are admitted through the Simon Fraser University admissions process… there is a portfolio component which can include exhibited art, designs, film, computer software code, engineering designs, or other products or deliverables from previous work. They also ask for a short Intro video, a letter of intent , and a short formal essay.

As a participant of this digital media program, you can pursue this program at any one of the universities that are part of the collaboration. You get to build video game interfaces, create digital circuses, and even be part of cool teams such as the Brain Bros and Krypto Clawz . When you graduate, you become an alumni of all four institutions! While in the porgram, you can get involved within their special digital media programs such as Teen MDM ,where you get an immersive volunteer experience helping teens understand digital media. For students whose first language is not English, there is also the Pre-MDM program which prepares students with the English skills they need for the MDM program.
