• Applicants must possess Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)
Three Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above
• Applicants can choose to perform/submit a theatrical monologue, a standup routine, or a comic writing sample
• English language proficiency
• International students will have a credit evaluation

In this diploma program, you will learn stand-up, improvisation, scriptwriting, sketch comedy and other aspects of the craft in 4 semesters. The diploma program features many mainstage class shows, weekly Humber student shows at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club and an organized end-of-year showcase for students. Applicants to this diploma program must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and be proficient in English. You must include a theatrical monologue, a standup routine, or a comic writing sample as part of the application to the diploma program.
