Admissions Req: The Advanced Certificate Forensics Program includes post secondary credits or certification as a police constable, Pre-entry Assessment, Criminal Record Check, Waiver Form and Resume. The BSc. Forensics Program includes post secondary credits in Math, Chemistry, Biology and English and a Criminal Record Check.

The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) offers the Advanced Certificate Forensics Program, and the University of British Columbia (UBC) offers the BSc. Combined Honors in Biochemistry and Forensic Science Program. As Sherlock Holmes once said, “It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts,” and by this he draws upon one of the most essential fields of industry needed for justice in the world: Forensics. Each forensics program could help you become the world’s next greatest forensic detective! In each forensics program, you will explore both the theoretical and practical aspects involved with forensics that can be used wherever you may wish to follow your forensic path. Some classes in each forensics program include lab work, evidence and witness expert training, and crime scene processing!
