Highlight: Nearly 10 million people, in the US alone, are estimated to have serious mental illnesses, and are unable to get help due to being underprivileged. And now more than ever, it’s time to do our part to help. The Virtual Mental program is offering a virtual internship, where as an intern you get the chance to help those in need. As a part of their program, you get to spend 8 weeks with other interns either in the summer/spring, helping to create virtual support groups for underprivileged communities. Mental Health is just as important as physical health, so why not spend time improving others mental health and maybe your own too. By being a part of this internship, you have the opportunity to connect with and be recommended to their network of partners who offer scholarships. As an intern at this virtual internship, you also receive letters of recommendations to assist in your school/scholarship search. Here’s your chance to improve other’s lives and build new connections while working with like-minded peers and professionals. Apply now and help to create a bigger impact on the world.
