Admissions Req: The eligibility states that you can be as young as 16 (at the time of the internship) but this medical internship seems primarily geared towards College and Graduate students

Highlight: If you are a high school student interested in the field of science, and specifically the field of health care, the Scripps Student Research Internship could be the perfect opportunity for you to further your passion and develop new skills. This research internship, held in La Jolla, San Diego, offers 40 students the chance to work with and learn from a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, and renowned investigators in many areas of genomics. Each student will develop independent research projects and present their results at the Translational Institute Research Meeting. Specifically, participants will study genes, proteins, small tissues and cells as they relate to health and diseases. High school students over 16 are eligible to apply, as long as they have a strong interest in genomics or in health translational research.
