Program Length: 3 weeks. End of June and July   (other university programs’ timeframes may vary but all in the summer)

Location: Stanford, California (also offered at other universities across the US and Canada!)

Highlight: AI4ALL at Stanford University is a three-week long residential computer programming and artificial intelligence (AI) summer camp dedicated to promoting interest and exposure in the field of Artificial Intelligence, OFFERED EXCLUSIVELY FOR GIRLS!! The program includes field trips, hands-on machine learning projects with graduate students, panels from the AI community to learn about networking/STEM-related opportunities, and more! Past projects have involved utilizing natural-language processing to aid disaster relief, writing machine-learning algorithms to detect cancers in the human genome, and programming self-driving vehicles! Organizers are committed to building a close-knit community and to serving underrepresented populations in this field. But don’t fear if you feel Stanford is not your vibe, the AI4ALL program is also offered in some other universities around the US and even Canada! Different universities’ programs are centred on different themes: UC San Francisco (Computational Biology and Bioinformatics), Simon Fraser University (Well-being), Seattle University** (Criminal Justice), Princeton University** (Policy); Columbia University** (Social Media, and Computational Social Work), the University of Texas at El Paso (the Borderlands), UC Berkeley and  University of Pennsylvania** (Robotics), Boston University and University of Washington** (Disabilities), and Arizona State University, Carnegie Mellon University**,  University of MarylandGeorgia Tech University** and the University of Michigan** (all focus on Social Impact). **Many of the others even let in the boys! So what are you waiting for? Financial: $6,500. (Online$1750) Need Blind Financial Aid Available. Tuition is pretty comprehensive and includes room and board as well as  field trip expenses, and local arrival and departure transportation costs.
Some AI4All programs are FREE: Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, UC San Francisco, U Penn, Columbia, University of Texas El Paso, Washington University. Others  are low cost and or offer scholarships to cover or assist with costs.
