Admissions Requirements:
Must be a resident of Canada. For some programs you need to be a female. Must be between 16 to 19 for some programs. For high school related programs check in with your counselor.

Highlight: Interested in participating in competitions and programs to gain new trade and technology skills? If so, the Skills Competences Canada Initiative focuses on providing students that reside in Canada with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in trade skills , like construction, IT, manufacturing and engineering, fashion and food services, transportation services, employment and workplace safety. Participants of this trade technology program can take part in competitions such as the WorldSkills International Competition and Territorial Competition as a way to gain more knowledge as well as make connections with professionals and peers in the same career field that the student is interested in. This trade technology program allows for students to start learning about their potential career field and developing projects related to it from an early age.
