Highlight: Calling all future scientists and doctors! We have the type of science apprenticeship program that will make you go wild. Participate in the Monell Science Apprenticeship Program where you can work with a Monell scientist in at least seven weeks of paid full-time research! This science apprenticeship program also includes a public conference for apprentices to present research! Within this science apprenticeship program, you will conduct research, learn about specific careers in medicine and science, and participate in all sorts of enrichment activities including lectures on scientific topics, exercises in public speaking and written communication, and research guiding ethical principles for human and animal research. The mission of this science apprenticeship program is to stimulate interest in biomedical science or medicine in groups underrepresented in science; this includes students who are female, ones in an ethnic or racial minority, and those who are economically disadvantaged. If you are in one or more of these groups, live in the greater Philly area, and biomedical research is your jam, apply to this science apprenticeship program today to start your path to becoming a scientist or doctor!
