Admissions Req: Students in Canadian high schools or CEGEP students from Quebec can participate in this science research competition. And in case you were wondering whether you can apply to this prestigious science research competition a second or third time, you can!.. just not with the same project!
Highlight: Are you an aspiring scientist or innovator who has always dreamed of impacting the world of health as a high schooler? Do you want to do this while winning cash prizes in a world-renowned science research competition? Then, enter a project in the Sanofi Biogenius Canada Competition! Consider entering with a friend in a team! This science research competition will help you gain some great experience in high-level research, form connections with expert biotechnology and life science mentors, and give you the opportunity to win prizes at the regional, and possibly national, or even international level! Pick any creative research topic related to biotechnology or life sciences, follow the carefully explained directions, and submit documentation detailing your plans. It’s pretty wide open — topics from past years included cancer, Alzheimer’s, crop life, and animal health! Here’s how it works: for 5 months, you work with a mentor in a lab to conduct detailed research, which will culminate with presenting a poster at a regional science research competition. Winners at the regional level will move on to the National BioGENEius science research competition in Toronto. The national champion will be able to compete in BIO International — the largest biotech event in the world! Don’t miss this chance to enter a prestigious science research competition, gain visibility around your discoveries, explore your interest and possibly even launch your career in biotech — all while impacting society for the better!
Financial: This science research competition is totally free!
