Highlight: The Ocean Guardian Youth Ambassadors program, organized by NOAA’s National Marine Sanctuaries, is a year-long opportunity for students aged 13-18 to engage in environmental advocacy and community outreach focused on marine conservation. Starting in January 2024, with applications open in November and December, participants are given the chance to take on unique projects in their local communities, all while being mentored by NOAA staff and seasoned professionals. Whether you’re passionate about marine life or simply eager to make a difference, this program offers an incredible opportunity to create real, lasting impact while learning from experts in the field.
