As the use of podcasts are growing, it is important that students learn how to create and share meaningful stories to the rest of the world through the means of the internet. The NPR Student Podcast Challenge provides students the perfect opportunity to hone in on their voice, tackle important issues, and receive an introduction to audioworks. This podcast challenge is open from grades 5 through 12 giving a wide variety of students a chance to tell their story and make their voice heard! There are also three brackets for this podcast, divided by age. Teachers also have to be involved in order to submit the audio files on the students’ behalf among other tasks. This podcast challenge is open to only students attending a school in the United States .
