WATER and WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

NIAGARA PENINSULA CONSERVATION AUTHORITY

Program Length: Very flexible! Single and multi-day education events or camps, 2-3 day surveying sessions, some regular weekly or monthly shift options, as well!

Location: One or several of their conservation areas located in the Niagara Peninsula.

Admissions Req: They’d love to hear from any students in high school…and older 🙂

Highlight: Many different kinds of conservation opportunities all under one roof! Whether you have an interest in identifying amphibians or marsh birds, prefer being a children’s educational activity lead at a spring or fall festival or camp counselour at March Break Camp, would like to be part of a tree planting or event recycling campaign, or simply just want to sign up to help turtles cross the road, there is something for you! The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) welcomes the ideas and skills, as well as the general support of all those volunteering with them.  Many of their long term volunteers started out looking for high school community service hours, just like you!

Financial: Free.
