Program Length: 6 month STEM training program

Location: Online study + in-person conference at MIT, Massachusetts

Admissions Req: Rising high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for this STEM training program. Students from disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds encouraged to apply

Highlight: If you an aspiring scientist or engineer, MOSTEC could be for you! Offered by MIT, this FREE 6-month STEM training program immerses students in an online STEM community as they complete online academic courses and connect with STEM professionals and MIT undergraduate mentors. Students take one project-based course and one science writing course during this STEM training program. Truly a STEM training program opportunity with a special online enrichment phase where you interact with researchers and professionals via webinars and online blogs. The STEM training program finally culminates in a 5-day conference on MIT’s campus, where you get to present a research project, attend workshops, and participate in social events organized by MOSTEC! You will leave this STEM training program with the skills and confidence to succeed in science and engineering, and a lifelong network of peers and professional mentors!
