Highlight: Within our world there are a plethora of legal systems. Each of them have their own unique features. However, they all have one thing in common: wrongful convictions. The Innocence Project aims to give those who have been wrongfully condemned a second chance by exonerating them and reforming the criminal justice system. In particular, the Innocent Network Directory is a global list of organizations that connects students and volunteers to various innocence projects. Each of these Advocacy Projects has their own set of particulars which can be found on their home page. These Advocacy Projects give access to dozens of innocence organizations worldwide, find opportunities based on your location, explore roles that match your interests, choose positions suited to your experience level, and get involved in real world justice and reform efforts!
