Then sign up for University of Maryland’s series of 2-3 session weekly computing workshops to get the chance! High school students take part in discussions, exercises, and activities remotely in four series of computing workshops. All of these computing workshops are open to all high school students, at no cost at all, and are an excellent way to broaden your knowledge in specific topics in computer science. Topics for these computing workshops include Intro to Computer Science, Cybersecurity & Social Media, UI/UX + Web Development, and Python + Data Science. Weekly computing workshops take place on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST on Zoom. A great way to explore and make the curiously interesting but possibly strange and scary, more interesting and much less scary!
