Volunteers have the ability to tailor their commitment to fit their lives, deciding when to schedule one-on-one speaking sessions with their assigned students. In addition, volunteering with this English teaching opportunity offers an opportunity for personal growth. Volunteers are able to gain valuable tutoring experience and enhance their professional and interpersonal skills. The ENGin team also provides continuous support and resources for its volunteers. Eligibility to become a volunteer for this English teaching opportunity is open to those aged 14 and above, with a requirement of being a native English speaker or fluent in English (English level of C1-C2). If you are able to dedicate a minimum of one hour per week and are comfortable with using online video chat platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, all you need to do is submit the volunteer application, schedule an interview, attend a 2-part training session, pass a short quiz, and complete a self assessment.
