As a Literary Apprentice with BreakBread, you’ll become an essential part of their team, actively involved in every step of producing BreakBread Magazine. Selecting works for publication, identifying new talent, encouraging submissions, and participating in peer feedback workshops to enhance your own writing skills are just a few of the responsibilities you will have as a Literary Apprentice throughout this opportunity. Your experience with BreakBread will be hands-on and eye-opening. You’ll gain invaluable insights into the world of magazine publishing, setting you up for success in college, the workforce, and beyond. Not only that, you will collaborate closely with their editorial staff, which comprises published and working writers. Although this opportunity is not paid, if you are eligible there is the opportunity to earn school credit through their Common Core-aligned program.
