AFS GLOBAL STEM ACCELERATORS

Program Length: 12 Weeks digital program (2 cohorts –Late May and Early August)

Location: Online program offered through the University of Pennysylvania

Admissions Requirements:
Must be 15-17.5 years old at the program start date
Open to those youth globally
Must know and understand English
Have an interest in STEM
To have a computer, smartphone or other digital device to access the virtual program content w/ stable internet

Highlight:
Are you interested in a career in STEM? Or maybe you want to join the ranks of other innovators? If so, then the AFS Global STEM Accelerator is the STEM opportunity for you. This STEM opportunity is designed to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills essential for future leaders. Hosted by the University of Pennsylvania, scholarship recipients work on team projects and presentations to help toward the goal of a sustainable future. There are two cohorts with one beginning in early May and the second starting in late August. Further, scholars who complete the program can earn a certificate awarded by the AFS. This is open to any high school students globally, from ages 15 to 17 and a half years old. If you have any questions, reach out to globalstem@afs.org or through their contact us page.
