There are three categories to this creative scholarship; essay writing, video making and artwork creation. Applicants may opt for any one of these categories and submit their respective entries in respect to this year’s topic of the creative scholarship; What is the role of policing in fostering democracy “by the people, for the people”? Maybe you could highlight the significance of police in democracy! Or you could mention what you think our police officers need to understand in order to better serve our community. Or you can take a completely different take on the topic! The creative control is yours! The three best entries from each category for this creative scholarship, will be awarded prizes ranging from $250-$1000.
