CLASSICAL VOICE SCHOLARSHIP (WINSTON)

Eligibility: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, and between ages 16-22 by March 1st. No previous winners, please… and applicants should be actively pursuing a vocal career.

Highlight: Arias Anyone? Young classical singers with exceptional talent and future potential can be supported by the Winston Classical Voice Scholarship as they further their vocal careers. Just fill out a brief application, shed some light on your professional aspirations, and prepare a video of yourself performing repertoire of 3 songs (it can be opera, art song, or  oratorio –as long as at least one is in English) and you’re in!  Video vocal performances will be evaluated at the local (chapter) level, where judges will select two finalists to advance to the national level. Somewhere between  8 and 10 winning entries are selected at the national level for funding prizes in varying amounts totalling $12,000.  Scholarship prize winning funds can be used for private study, special training or personal advancement in your future career. Funds  may also  be used towards college tuition as long as vocal performance is part of your study. So take this moment to  showcase your vocal range, to expand your range of vocal training and networking possibilities!
