Eligibility: High school seniors from the U.S. who are vegetarian or vegan are eligible for this essay scholarship.

A $10,000 essay contest geared towards high school seniors that are passionate about vegetarianism. All you need to do is submit an essay  (and some other supporting materials) about how you have promoted vegetarianism in your community- starting a blog, creating an Instagram post, or being featured in a news article- and what vegetarianism means to you. Judges of this essay scholarship are looking for people who have demonstrated compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting vegetarianism and veganism to people within groups or in places they know. Did I mention that they even offer two runner-up essay scholarships worth $5,000 each? Adding yet another potential pay-off (to the possibly many?) of the  no-meat diet!
