Eligibility: You must be a high school junior or senior between the ages of 14-20, or an undergraduate student between 15 to 25 years old. Participants under 18 must have an eligibility form signed by parents.

Application Deadline: Billboards due March 1st. Video and Radio ads due April 1st.

Project Yellow Light offers a unique opportunity for students wishing to get into fields regarding media. The media competition is essentially a contest that asks students to produce the best ad that warns against driving with distractions. These ads split into three separate categories; video, billboard, and radio. They also give you soem resources and tips for realizing your ideas and preparing your work! Winners of the billboard and radio contests will receive 2000$ and the winner of the video contest will win 8000$. In addition to the cash prize, the video contest winner could potentially have their video be turned into an Ad Council PSA and be distributed to thousands of TV stations nationally. On top of all that, this media competition is a fantastic way to emphasize the importance of distraction-free driving.

Project Yellow Light is open to any high school junior or senior between the ages of 14 and 20 or undergraduate student between the ages of 15 to 25. The deadline for the billboard contests is March 1st and the deadline for the radio and video contests is April 1st. So what are you waiting for?
