Application Deadline: The applications for this entrepreneurship contest end around early November… To participate in this entrepreneurship contest, you must be a  US sophomore, junior, or senior in high school.  AND… you will need a GPA of 3.0 or better… likely because in addition to the monetary prizes, there are also scholarship prizes  for admission for Seton Hall University… meaning you would want to go there… AND you would consequently be eligible for admission — hence the 3.0 GPA

Highlight: Every great entrepreneur first started off with a humble pitch. The Pirates Pitch entrepreneurship contest encourages business entrepreneurship within high school students and is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to apply for this entrepreneurship contest. Participants of this entrepreneurship contest must submit startup pitches, in 350 words or less, describing an innovative product or service that they would like to create or have already created. This pitch should include what problems the product/service solves, how it will be profitable, its target audience, its competition, why it is better than the competition, and more.
Prizes of $2500, $1000 and $300 are awarded to the first place winner, second place winner and the People’s choice Award of the entrepreneurship contest, respectively. In addition, $10000, $6000 and $4000 are awarded as scholarships to the Seton Hall university for the first place winner, second place winner and the finalists respectively. The applications for this entrepreneurship contest are open in September and the deadline is late October and the winners are announced Mid-November. Have any questions?
