Well, look no further and hear this: McDonald’s is partnering up with Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) to offer an HBCU scholarship to outstanding students who are attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)! 33 students have a chance to win $15,000 for the current academic school year, $7,500 per semester! How to qualify for this HBCU scholarship, you ask? You must be a full-time college/university student attending an HBCU for the current school year with a 2.7 cumulative GPA or higher, and be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident. Now here’s the good part: how to apply for this HBCU scholarship. You only need provide a transcript for your most recently completed school year, upload a professional image in your school logo/and colors, and answer both of the following video interview questions: Do you consider yourself a changemaker, an individual that helps institute positive growth for your school, for your community? If so, how & why? The next question is: How do you demonstrate Black & Positively Golden at your HBCU or community?
