Highlight: Are you a student from grade 9 to 12 that has experienced a “good news” moment that reminds you of Jesus’ teachings? Have you experienced something in your life that you always remember as a positive story; a story that you happily share with others as it brings you happiness and joy? Well then, the Maryknoll Student Essay Contest is perfect for you! Through just 500-750 words you can tell your ‘good news’ story in this essay contest and relive that moment with someone- and in the process, be in for a chance to win one of three cash award prizes (in your division) ranging from $150-$1,000. Not only will you get to share your good news story with the contest judges, but you could also win a rewarding prize AND have your story shared to a wider audience in the Summer Maryknoll magazine if you happen to be one of the first place winners! As Jesus once said “I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” (Luke 4:43)… so why not preach your good news and enter this essay contest today! Read more and apply to this essay contest by mid-November to share your ‘good news’ story and open your eyes to the good you’ve experienced in the world!
