Type: Horror Writing Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarships are open to all applicants interested in writing horror and HWA membership is not required. Applicants must write a cover letter on why you deserve the scholarship (max 500 words), a note on how you plan to use the scholarship (250-500 words), and a writing sample — aka. the horror writing part (max 3000 words).

August.
Submissions open in June.
Winners announced in September.

Highlight: Do you delight in watching or reading horror? Even better, do you enjoy writing in your spare time?
