Eligibility: Applicants of this essay scholarship must be an undergraduate or high school senior Girl Up member who is pursuing a degree in STEM, Storytelling, or Sports.

This disparity is evident in the gender gap through differences in salary, treatment, etc.. in the workplace and in society. The Girl Up Scholarship is an essay scholarship fund dedicated to breaking down these barriers, by providing the necessary funds for women to apply towards their education. To enter this essay scholarship, applicants must submit a 1 minute video and complete 5 short responses (250-500 words) on questions about your area of study, your experiences and their impact on gender equality.
