This computer science scholarship is for students that meet all the minimum qualifications and students that identify with groups historically excluded from the technology industry, including Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, to apply (it is super exciting to see such a large company promoting diversity!!). Lucky for you the application is super simple for this computer science scholarship. You answer 3 short answer essay questions giving info on the following: an example of how you have exhibited leadership, a significant challenge that impacts historically excluded groups in the field of technology, and what you believe is the root cause of this challenge, and then just describe any financial circumstances affecting your need for a scholarship…. and you’re in!!! Along with answering those questions, you will need to provide some general background information (you know the drill…. stuff like contact information and details about your current and intended universities). The winners of this computer science scholarship will be awarded some hefty java — $10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or $5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada).
