Type: Need-blind scholar-athlete awards  (*essay required answering 2 questions)

Eligibility: To be considered for these scholar-athlete awards, you must be entering a 4-year undergrad program as a freshman in upcoming fall, be involved in sports, have a 3.0+ GPA, and be a US citizen or permanent resident. 

Application Deadline: Apply for these scholar-athlete awards by the beginning of January.

Highlight:  Have you spent your high school years striving to be the best you can as both in the classroom and on the playing field? Are you the kind of person who influences others positively and encourages your peers both  in school and in your community? Foot Locker is looking for young leaders like you to give one of their scholar-athlete awards to. You don’t need to be the top scorer on your team …or planning on playing sports after high school… or even playing on a varsity team now! Judges are really just looking for great team players and leaders; and you could get $5,000 annually toward your tuition and school fees if you’re chosen ! Send in your application, letter of recommendation, and essays describing your leadership, teamwork, goals, and dreams to see if you’ll be selected for one of these amazing scholar-athlete awards!
