Highlight: Are you a passionate student who likes to advocate for the rights of others and defend those who are suffering from vulnerability? Well, the Cyberbullying Prevention contest is the one for you. The Centene Institute Youth Impact Award wants to raise awareness about the growing issues of Cyberbullying. This youth contest has been designed to encourage students to take action and reach out to others to end cyberbullying before it’s too late. This youth contest is open to any high school students who wants to use their creativity in any shape or form such as sculpture, video, Fashion & Jewelry, graphic art, and other types of art to create a unique artwork that reflects the struggle of fighting cyberbullying. In this youth contest, the rules clearly state that students must cite anything on their artworks that doesn’t belong to them such as quotes, facts, ideas, or other works. For the submission of this youth contest, they will only accept file types including JPEG, PNG, GIF, or PDF and for video uploads, it has to be MP4, MOV, or WAV, and no larger than 35 MB. You should also bear in mind that during the youth contest submission you will be asked to write a brief description of fewer than 250 words about the inspiration behind your art piece and how it delivers the message to fight cyberbullying. What makes this program unique is the fact that you can also write your written reflection in Spanish or any other language but it has to be translated into English if it’s not Spanish. But the most exciting thing has yet to come because in this youth contest students can win up to $5000 !!! Even if you don’t win, there is still something for you and you can even receive up to 10 hours of community service. But students, you will have to start working for this youth contest because the application deadline is close around! So what are you waiting for?
