Essentially, this writing competition is based on a yearly prompt that students must respond to with either an essay or a speech. This writing competition is the perfect opportunity for you to gain recognition for your speeches and writing while also allowing more people to know your views. Past topics have been addressing certain global issues, proposing innovative solutions, and exploring emerging trends. On top of that, if you are in first place for your respected category, you will win 250 dollars. 2nd and 3rd place, and other honorable mentions will also be recognized. You can submit your writing and speeches in many forms for this writing competition, such as personal narratives, analytical essays, research papers, prose, stories, poems, etc. Applications are accepted from March to June, with them opening in mid-March and closing in early June .

Students are eligible if they are currently enrolled in an accredited high school or university. Students are also eligible if they are taking a gap year or gap semester.
