Highlight: If you’re concerned about how pollutants and littering affect our drinking water, this environmental scholarship may be great for you! The ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship will grant one student $1500 for researching and writing about cross connection control during water filtration and how to prevent contamination. The APBA environmental scholarship wants to ensure that we drink safe and healthy water and incentivizes students to research the safety of drinking water. For this environmental scholarship, you’ll have to “Describe the meaning of backflow prevention and how we can keep our drinking water safe through cross connection control. Identify potential hazards commonly found in a typical residential household and discuss actions needed to correct them.” This environmental scholarship has us consider the potential hazards of drinking water and how we can stop them. If you’re dedicated to ensuring clean and safe drinking water for all, then your input is sought! Apply to the ABPA environmental scholarship!
