Admissions Requirement:
• 18-29 years old
• High school graduate or GED
• Low to moderate income U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, DACA recipient, or employment authorization card
• Live within commuting distance of a Year Up location
• Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless you have a medical disability or sincerely held religious belief that prevents you from receiving the vaccine

Year Up is a training program that links American students to some solid internship opportunities in different roles in larger companies. With support and facilities that serve over 40,000 students across the 30 campuses in the US, Year Up helps students get set up in internships that can allow them to develop skills in areas of interest that broaden their opportunities for the future. This 100% tuition free training program provides classroom teaching from professional experts across a wide range of fields like IT, customer support, business operations, sales and many more. Students can count on access to great opportunities to cultivate professional experience. This training program has rolling admissions (so effectively no application deadline!) Appliy when you’re ready to this year long program. This is an in-person perogram so students nust live within commuting distance of one of the 30 campuses, though there is one component of the program that may be taken online. In addition there are some financial need eligibility requirements but they may be more inclusive and broader than you might expect. Plus these training/ internhsip programs all have stipends! And for outcomes? Almost 80% of alumni land their first job within 4 months after graduating and have a support team in place to help them.
