Admissions Req: Any teenager anywhere in the world is invited to join us, if you are in middle or high school, or if you graduated from high school in 2021 and haven’t started college yet!

Well then, the New York Times Annual Summer Reading Contest would be perfect for you, allowing you to display to thousands of other readers “What got your attention in The Times this week?” This reading contest is a pressure-free competition that enables you to pick something that caught your attention whenever is best for you! All you have to do to enter is choose anything from the New York Times such as an article, video, or graphic and submit a short 1500 character response detailing why you found the article interesting. With this reading contest running every Friday from June 11th to August 19th you have ample opportunity to practice your writing skills before returning to school after the summer alongside the range of opportunities to read a range of material and learn something new- all to be in for a chance to have your work published on the LearningNetwork where others can read your response and learn something from you.
