Eligibility: To participate in this essay scholarship, you must be a legal resident of the US, and at least 13 years old. 

Application Deadline: Annually at the end of February.

Let Grow is an organization that believes that parents, educators, and communities should equip kid with the tools and confidence to step up. They believe in fostering good, old-fashioned independent thought. In keeping with this, students are asked to simply write a 500- 800 word essay about how they see the world and how their experiences have shaped their perspective. Anyone from age 13 and up can participate in this essay scholarship for the chance to win $5,000 for your college education! Did I mention both winners and runners-up of this essay scholarship will have their piece published by a major newspaper– further acknowledging the notion that “kids can do it!” Take a chance, let yourself grow, and give this essay competition a try!
