Highlight: Smaller, more personal, and very well-respected option for a program that is not widely offered. Learn to design the most economical ship or ship or structure to suit a particular purpose — transporting cargos, ice breaking, towing, etc. Program includes courses about offshore structures as well — design and operation of oil platforms, subsea pipelines, and equipment. All students are given laptops that are pre-loaded with all required programming software. Graduates have been in high demand all over North America and typically have job offers prior to graduation. Choose to continue to complete the Bachelors — potentially great prep for a (MS) in Space Architecture !
